Just got back from two nights in Las Vegas doing a CNTU run.
First Night, I stayed at Bally's
Booked at the Bally's website for $49 and then called them to have them add the code: PBHHON2 which was good for 20% off plus 2000 Hilton Points.
As a gold I got an upgrade to one of their refurbished rooms in the North Tower. It was nice, especially for under $50.
Second Night I stayed at Paris
Booked at the Paris-LV website for $69 and then called them to have them add the code: PPHHON2 which was good for 10% off plus 2000 Hilton Points.
As a gold I got an upgrade to a room facing the strip (view of Eiffel Tower and Bellagio Fountain). I was originally told by the desk clerk that an upgrade would cost $20, but then I said I was HH Gold and after being gone for a few minutes checking with her supervisor, she said that there would be no charge for the upgrade). It was a nice room, I think it was worth the price, especiall compared to price for other LV properties.

Amazing, Ditto! Maybe I would've bumped into you.
9/29 (Bally's) $49
9/30 (Paris) $79
I booked both hotels for the $25 match play options. Didn't get the 20% off (Would've saved ~30). But I made good on the match plays, free $50 right there http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif
Big mistake, Did not Bring Hhonors Gold card.
Make sure you bring your Hhonors card, it makes things so much easier. I checked in at the airport for Bally's, great experience. Had to hassle with North tower upgrade because I didn't have my gold card, but she let it go any how. Room was nice, large, refurbished like new, marble bathroom, wife loved it.
Use of the Bally's SPA is free with Hhonors gold card. Didn't bring it.... Had to practically beg them to call Hhonors to confirm. They took pity and let me in.
Amazingly, Paris was packed Monday at 11 am. Long lines of checking in already. Didn't want to risk waiting too long going to airport, so checked in at invited guest line. Same deal, happy to upgrade to view room with card. No card? Well let me give you a view room on very low floor then (7th). View to Bellagio watershow was blocked by the Eiffel. It's alright, taped it last time I was here.
If you want to use the spa, I recommend going to Bally's instead. They're much nicer to Hhonor golds. Paris buffet was great, lots of varieties.
Overall, nice trip. I would've actually preferred to stay in Bally's room as they are larger and feels much newer. Paris tend to have a very stuck up attitude. Bring your Hhonors card and check in at airport!

Do either of you know if the codes are good with packages? I have Passport to Paris package booked in November...and would love to get another 20% and bonus points.
Thanks!

Hello FTers,
I had a four night first time stay at Bally's in mid-August. When I called the 800 number about the room, I was able to get discounts for using an AMEX card and be a senior (these brought the advertised $49 rate down to ~$34). I can't remember the actual %s that they gave me but I was very satisfied with the room and the rate.
We plan to stay there again as the Flamingo (where we have stayed the most over the Hilton years) is just getting too old.
Cheers,
Va.SquireFlyer

Don't know about the discount, I kind of doubt it since the package is already a discount. Would be great if they let you do it.
I believe the bonus points show up automatically without using the code, since there is a Las Vegas promotion going on now. Will have to wait a few days to see if it posts.

is there any other 'perks' at the Paris other than rooms with a view? I know that Bally's lets you in the spa free with your HHgold card, can you use it even when staying at the Paris? I'll be there for over a week in November and just looking for some details..!

If you're Diamond they may upgrade you to either a suite or club level. For the spa just walk in and show them your gold card. They never asked me what property I was staying in or what room number I was in. Paris/Ballys are essentially attached twins anyhow. When I checked in they thought I had two nights at Paris instead of Bally's/Paris =D. Had to break it up to make sure I get my CNTU points.

The SPA/gym at Ballys is free for Gold/Diamonds. This is NOT the case @ Paris where EVERYONE must pay since the SPA/gym is privately owned and NOT part of the hotel.Although I never had a prob when I went to Ballys spa when staying at Paris.
The Flamingo policy is the same as Ballys.
Also I have a res at The Flamingo next week(Ballys sold out) and called up and asked about the promo used the code from the first post just changed the 2nd letter to an "F" and was told its 20% off to $48 and 2000 bonus pts on top of that. code used PFHHON2 dont know it its correct or if the agent used one that was but when I checked my CC statement on-line today sure enough the charge appeared as $48 plus the tax.

Did you call the Hilton Honors customer service or the Hotel Customer Service to give them the code?

You make the res with the hotel you want to stay at. I dont remember the 888# but go to LVHILTON.COM and on top theres a place to click onto the other park place props.
Hilton might be able to help with the Hilton or Hilton Vacation places only, besides the E.S., D.T., or Hamptons. But they cant do anything for Paris, Ballys or Flamingo. Also the Value rate @Hilton.com was $90 for the LVH while the LVH site offered the same night for $65.

So is there a code for the Las Vegas Hilton?
Discount and points...
Thanks,

I do NOT know for sure if theres a code for the LVH. I do know there are codes for the 20% off and 2000 bonus pts @ Ballys, Paris, and Flamingo.
I would call the hotel and give them a code like PHHHON2. It seems that the difference between the hotels is the 2nd letter which corresponds to the 1st letter of that hotels name. B=Ballys, P=Paris, F=Flamingo, I assume that H=Hilton if they have it call on the 800# and you lose nothing for trying.
I was able to get a couple of coupons for the Fairfield Inn (a Marriott prop on Paridise Rd for $49 a night)(roomsaver.com/hotelcoupons.com) since any 3 nights(not consecutive gives you 2 free wkend nights up to a Cat 4 if a rewards member and you sign up for the promo starts 10/14-1/31/03) so this way Ill be able to take advantage of both promos.

Is the promotion PFHHON2 for flamingo still valid? If yes, do I just call the reservation and request it. I have already book a hotel room with them for Dec 23-27 stays.

Quick question...I just completed a stay at Bally's under the PBHHON2 promo. While my base points and gold bonus have posted, I have not received the 2,000 point bonus. Does that usually post with the points for the stay or separately at a later time? Just wondering whether an e-mail to HHONORS may be in order. Thanks.
