I would like to know if the Hilton sells gift certificates that can be redeemed at any Hilton?

I asked Hilton awhile ago and was advised "no" they didn't, and couldn't because the properties varied so differently in type. I wasn't asking for certificates that covered packages . . .all I wanted was certificates for specific dollar amounts that one could use @ any Hilton throughout the country. I don't see why $50 USD @ Hilton IND isn't the same as $50 USD @ Waldorf-A. Marriott sells $ amt certificates and package certificates . . . . .

You could give them an american express "gift cheque" .... same as a travellers cheque, but has the word gift on it...

Give cash. If they want to use it for Hilton charges, so be it.

which one can buy at a 10% discount. I sure wish Hilton would come out w/these types of certs.

Seems like every other business in the world has gift cards, why not Hilton?

Meanwhile, you could give HHonors award certificates away to friends or family.

Well, if we all called Hilton asking to purchase gift certificates for Holiday Packages, perhaps somebody in marketing would get wind . . . .when should the campaign begin and what number should we all call???

With all the business travel that goes onto expense reports, Hilton could make a "ton" of money. Why not stock up on a few here and their.

Seems like a no-brainer.
