Hilton HHonors - Hilton Gold Upgrades? Towers? A few questions

How does the upgrade process work for Hilton Gold VIPs at Hilton Hotels? I have quite a few questions, and did not see this covered in the handbook at all.

What type of upgrades are offered to gold vips at participating hotels? Is there a listing of locations/hotels that offer golds upgrades to tower rooms? What are the terms and conditions?

Welcome aboard rsfiction. Many of the "HH regulars" here print out a copy or two of the HH T&C noted and take it on our trips. We sometimes have to educate certain HH hotel personal as to what it states, hints to and what HH promises. It is a very handy document to have at certain times.

Recent stay at the Conrad Dublin they would not provide a breakfast as they stated they had given us an upgraded room. The only upgrade seemed to be a larger room as we had a roll-away bed. Asked twice and same response both times...guess I should have had a copy of this with me!
