Hilton HHonors - Miles removed from my account today!

Unlike meatball22 and whatever scam is running there, I ran MileTracker today and it seems some 13,000+ points have been taken from my account. I didn't do it, no record in the HH webpage, so I phoned the Diamond Desk. They so far can't explain it either but are continuing to look into it.

So, you might want to check your balance to make sure the total looks right because there doesn't seem to be any record so far of what the activity is/was. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

That's quite odd, not to mention unpleasant!

Since the amount of points deducted does not equal to any particular award, it's unlikely that someone else is using your account.

I'm wondering if there is any possibility of a stay (or stays) in the past where you were not supposed to get points (e.g., Priceline, or reward stay) but received them anyway. Perhaps HH is trying to fix their own mistake? I vaguely remember a similar case posted in the Starwood Forum, and that was exactly the reason for point deduction several months after the stay in question. Of course, that may not apply to your case. Hope it will be cleared up soon.

All of my stays are "legit" stays, generally at Homewood Suites. The number is not indicative of any award stay, but the puzzling thing so far is that the Diamond Desk couldn't see any indication of why the points were removed. And if someone was cracking my account, there is alot more in there than the 14K that was removed!
