I've booked a codeshare flight with American Airlines to Madrid. The departure is from Miami, and return is to Chicago. The reservation shows that I will be flying the Airbus A340. Iberia has both the A343 and the A346.

How can I find out which specific aircraft I am flying? Called AA and they couldn't tell me.

Also, what are the differences between each cabin (A343 vs. A346), Economy and Business?

Thank you kindly.

If it helps, the flight numbers are AAL5672/IBE6122 and AAL5683/IBE6275.

Flightaware.com shows that it could be either aircraft:

Log into your reservation and look at the seat map. Compare it to the maps for both types of equipment at Seat Guru (http://www.seatguru.com) and you'll be able to figure out which plane you have seat assignments. Iberia A343 starts economy in row 8 and has 5 rows in business class; the A346 starts economy in row 10 and has 9 rows in business class.

There are no major differences, and less so if flying in Economy, between both models of the Airbus A340; the only significant difference IMO is in seat selection.
