Coming to LA in March and was thinking of doing a tour at the Grammy Museum at the LA Live complex.
Is it worth doing? I'm a huge music buff, but their website is still pretty vague about it all.
Anything else to do in the LA Live area?
Not exactly next to L.A. Live, but in the general area:
-Angels Flight vernicular railway.
-Bradbury Building (ornate wrought iron inside; parts of "Blade Runner" were filmed there)
-Olvera Street
-Union Station
-Biltmore Hotel (including a display of photos of the Academy Awards cermonies when they took place there in the early 1930s)
Other museums, and a link to several reviews of the Grammy Museum, at: http://www.yelp.com/search?cflt=museums&find_loc=Downtown%2C+Los+Angeles%2C+CA
Thanks SoCal!
None of those things you mentioned really interest me, so may be a side trip for the day from Universal or shopping!
