Alitalia MilleMiglia - "Be ready to save"?

Hi,

About to book an Alitalia flight. The Alitalia homepage however shows a big banner stating that starting November 10, 20:00 there will be a special offer for me...

Have they done this before? Any ideas what I can expect? Should I hold of booking my flight?

Yes - they do it on a regular basis and, as far as I remember, it's normally 10% discount. If you're planning to book a transatlantic flight, I'd definitely wait as you could make significant savings.

A word of warning, on those dates sales go fast. If you have seen a good offer already, it may fill up and the discount may be less than the difference to the next fare.

Thanks for the advice. I'll keep a close look at the availability and sit behind my computer exactly at 20:00 :)

Edit: Weird timing by the way. The Dutch version of the website states that the offer will be available at 20:00. However at 21:30 Dutch (and Italian) time, the countdown still lasts 28 hours and 30 minutes....

Yes, on all flights I think.

Even worked on my booking: Booked an outbound flight departing in one country and inbound flight arriving in another country (A-B, B-C).
