I booked an award flight lhr to mru using my miles and paid in miles and cash bmi plus taxes for all segments in C class. they all are with the exception of JNB to MRU which i could only get in economy. I emailed SAA ages ago just asking if I could be moved to C on the day if there was a free seat given i had "paid" for C ; I dont expect it but it would be nice. Enouragingly i gotb a lovely email back saying they would contact the relevant department and ger an answer back. Nothing has come back 6 weeks on despite a couple of nice chaser emails. Does anyone have any specific contacts i might use at all: i would be grateful.
