I saw this unusual building somewhere between Seminyak and Nusa Dua. It was made from black rock (volcanic, I'm assuming) and the look of it seemed very gothic. It seemed like it was constructed fairly recently and then abandoned - the grounds around it were pretty much nothing but weeds. There was a shack near the entrance to the grounds with a few people to take your 10000IDR admission.
It was located next to a cemetery for Chinese Christians (at least that's what my driver told me). Most of the headstones had crosses on them, so I'm assuming there's a bit of truth to it. The driver wasn't sure what the building was either, but said he had seen similar ones in other towns.
There was a sign posted on the building somewhere that read:
"Dilarang Masuk Ke
Areal Monument Tanpa
Seizin Satpam"
Google hasn't helped me much. Any of you regulars have any ideas?
EDIT: After searching Google Maps for cemeteries in Bali, I think this (http://g.co/maps/7baq4) may be it. Looks like it's just outside Nusa Dua (cemetery is tagged and building is just to the left).
A few photos (and more can be found here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/mastahanky/sets/72157627943477053/)).
