Traveling FC on NH1 today and very surprised at the Senator Lounge at Dulles. First time for me on NH1 since dedicated ANA lounge closed. Senator Lounge is like Grand Central Station today - very few seats available, food choices minimal or just empty plates, several tables not cleaned... With all the people present, the lounge is noisy. This is certainly not what I've come to expect from ANA for FC passengers. A huge difference from the dedicated ANA lounge - and a disappointment given my prior great ANA experiences and the price of FC tickets today.

Welcome to the future. Square footage at IAD not merely expensive but off the charts. Makes dedicated ANA lounge not profitable. But, the # at LH off the charts because it is *A and handles lots. This won't get better any time soon.

I do believe there is space for a dedicated lounge if NH wanted to do so. In addition, the previous lounge was shared with Air France was it not?
The food choices in senators lounge are much better in the late afternoon when LH flights are coming and going .
Though i agree the senators lounge is a mob scene.
