Thanks op!

Too bad doesn't work the other way, would have made a great Summer fare to Europe.

What other cities were did you see? I didn't see anything except BUD-NYC for $364

Yup, it's there.

It's "criminal" that you can't do it the reverse direction. June would be very nice in Hungary.

Nah, I don't think so. Looks like another Kayak display error. When you go to the Delta page to book and convert to USD it is $563 not $364

Aw, that's too bad for any Hungarians reading this.

$563 is probably still a very good fare for June.

Nope, you can find those fares on Delta. Do flexible search on Delta and look for ~80,000 HUF fares.

I'm about to complete one purchase. (Too bad Delta's 24h cancellation policy isn't valid for those flights.)

Yeah I see what you mean. Some fares 80,700 HUF (but that is $427.61- still a great summer fare). But the $364 fares show up on Kayak (e.g., June 13-20) and then price out much higher in HUF when you click through to Delta.com. Something is whacked

Just booked BUD-JFK for 363.90 on Expedia - 6/2 out and 6/3 return. Now, I have to make my way from LON to BUD for the flights! :D

Not a bad deal in an EC bulkhead seat. :D

All,

Hello - DL has canx the JFK-BUD non-stop...be sure to look at your reservations regarding re-booking! While the 767 leaves something to be desired, I DID NOT want to be on a KL 747 where I'd have to pay for EC.

I'm on the phone with the DM desk right now...

Aren't DL DMs supposed to get KL EC for free?

I've always automatically gotten EC for me and any companions when booked on KL. I really like their EC product.

Did you receive EC at booking or at check in? I am DL DM. I have no problem with EC when traveling alone; but I cannot reserve EC with a companion.:(

The chart on DL's Economy Comfort page (https://www.delta.com/traveling_checkin/inflight_services/economy_class/economy_comfort.jsp)states that it is free on KL.

However, According to theKL website (https://www.klm.com/travel/ca_en/prepare_for_travel/checkin_options/internet_checkin/ici_help/seat_choice.htm#p2), no:

Price
The price for a seat in the Economy Comfort zone is from EUR 60 to 150 per one way, depending on the duration of the flight. If you are a Flying Blue Platinum member or if you travel on a fully flexible Economy ticket, you can get a seat in the Economy Comfort zone free of charge. Flying Blue Gold members and SkyTeam Elite Plus members of our partner airlines receive a 50% discount. Flying Blue Silver members pay 25% less. All you need is a credit card.

My credentials/info is all correct with KL, but no luck with getting an EC seat for free...just the 50% discount.

Have you done this at booking (within 90 days) or at OLCI?

Thanks!
:)

I'm just FO and was able to choose KL EC for free for a trip this weekend. Does plane type matter? Also, it's really no great shakes anyway, right? Just an extra 4" pitch, or is there more?
