Hello,
I've been looking for a way to scan cheap flights leaving from a city on a certain date, but open-ended in terms of destination. I know that I've seen it before but I can't find it!
Any tips?
Thanks :-)

Skyscanner does this; farecompare and kayak buzz let you specify month of departure but not specific day I think.

Maybe it's just the location I'm using (Detroit), but skyscanner doesn't work at all for me. It comes up with a big list of destinations, but it never lists a price. Instead, it just has a bunch of "?"s as the price.
Like right now, I just put "DTW to EVERYWHERE" and it comes up with a lot of destinations... Japan, Germany, China, Brazil, etc. But it has no price for any of them. That's not useful! :(

Once in a while I'll see ???, but never for all destinations.

When you search without selecting a destination airport, Skyscanner will display all the prices stored in its database. Prices are stored each time someone makes a search for a specific origin-destination pair at a specific date.
So if no one did a specific searche before all you will see is "?" unfortunately.
Skyscanner is mainly used by Europeans so searches for US airports usually gets more "?".

I just used Skycanner a few weeks ago for several flights from the US to Europe and within Euorpe, and it worked great. Actually, it showed a great fare from a discount agency but I was able to get the same fare from the airline directly--I just wasn't sure about that particular agency.
Maybe Skyscanner is not so good for flights within the U.S.???
