Hilton HHonors - Hilton Eugene & Conference Center

Does the Eugene downtown H currently have either Ex level or Ex Club/ Lounge? Please advise on recomendations about either one?

Yes, the Eugene Hilton has both Executive Level floors and an Executive Lounge. I think the top two floors were Exec Level requiring card key access, and as I recall the Exec Lounge is on the top floor. Nice lounge, good appetizer type food, overall no complaints. Attendant was very friendly and helped with dinner reservations. We stayed on a BB rate, and received breakfast coupons for the restaurant on the first floor, which was also very good.

I stayed in Eugene as a Diamond. Was not told about any lounge. (Perhaps it is closed on the weekend??). I was given a VERY nice suite on the top floor. The only problem was the trains passing by every couple of hours. Very good service. There was a Sorority Formal in the hotel the night I stayed there but the hotel was quiet. I talked to one of the sorority girls and she told me they are forbidden from renting rooms in the hotel that night, so there were no loud parties in the hotel. This is different from my fraternity days where we would get rooms in the same hotel as our formals and party loudly all night. The best part of the stay was standing out on my balcony and watching drunk sorority girls being carried out of the hotel by security and stopping every few feet to puke their guts out. Which hotel in Eugene Oregon is the best one to stay for a football game,the Hilton or maybe the Valley River Inn...Since I'm a diamond honors member I would like to stay at the Hilton..I have heard both pro's and con's about both hotels ...Thanks for any help!!
