Hilton HHonors - Embassy Suites-MSP Airport -Bloomington, MN

What should I expect at this property(if anything extra)as a gold?

I had to ask for the amenity. It was a couple of bottles of water and shortbread cookies, I think. Not sure about upgrades since I didn't ask. Figured the standard room was fine. Breakfast was included in rate.

I have stayed both there and at the ES off of France avenue (west about 6 minutes). I have been upgraded as Gold to a nice suite with a HUGE bathroom and steam shower at the West location, but the airport location is newer and fresher. at the property you are asking about, only a 5 minute ride from the airport and a 5 minute walk from the mall'o'merica if you are into that sort of walk. It is all in all a nice place (great nachoes in the lounge). This is a better property than the Hilton next door.

As it turns out I couldn't get that property for the dates needed. So what about the Doubletree in the same area?

Have never stayed there, the Homewood suites is nice, and right across from mall'o'merica. If you have a car, I would go to the ES off of france avenue (80th strrt i think) nice property, and I have never been turned away.

Dumb: Going to the wrong Embassy Suites in Bloomington, MN (went to ES MSP instead of ES Bloomington).

Dumber: I knew there were two in the same city and didn't double check the address.

FT Post worthy: It's not the first time I did this in this city.

Not one of my better nights. Anyone else?
