I was wondering if you have met Joe the Bartender from Boston. I always like talking with him over a couple of drinks on my layovers or arrivals/departures out of PHX. I make it a point to spend time in the lounge to talk with Joe. He is so outgoing and funny. I love talking about Boston with him, his job with US Airways etc.
The other staff at this lounge(Terminal 4 Concourse B) are also friendly. Once when I was bumped on my US Airways flight this past March they were really helpful finding what shuttle to take to the hotel etc. The next morning they were happy to see me again and I had fun times talking with them.
Also this past June when I went via Phoenix I had fun times stopping in before and after my flight.
The US Airways Clubs do a great job with their snacks and beverages. Gotta love the Flavia machine beats waiting in line at Starbucks. The complimentary house wine and beer is not that bad considering it would cost $4 for a glass of beer and $6-$7 for a glass of wine.
All in all a great lounge and worth the stop even when flying in on Southwest.
