Russia - Don't forget - now eternal summer in Russia!

A reminder that Russia did NOT put its clocks back an hour today and will not be making any move to 'winter time'.

Belarus has followed suit, but Ukraine and Armenia eventually decided not to and DID put their clocks back today.

Be prepared for some unfamiliar time differences. The time in Minsk is now different to the time in Kyiv, and Moscow is now 4 hours ahead of London!

hmmm - because of the non-clock change, the overnight BD flight ex-LHR arrives into DME @ 05:45. When it got in at 04:45, a taxi into town is a no-brainer (and indeed no option)... arriving at 05:45 I won't make the 06:00 aeroexpress, and don't fancy waiting until 07:00, but is traffic likely to be bad at around 06:ish?

And since I've got your attention, how early do I need a cab from the Park Hyatt to DME for a 07:20 flight? I normally cut things fine, so from past experience would be happy to get to DME at 06:20, although this time I am in Y (carryon only). 5am to be safe?

I think if you're before 6:30 you're fine, the closer you get to 7, though, I would use the Aeroexpress rather than a taxi.

On the way back, I think a 5am cab will give you plenty of time for a 7:20 flight.

Sorry, thought I'd replied to this with my experience.

Flight landed a few minutes late but immigration was a breeze and I was through by 6:10 - not going to wait for the train so got a taxi from the arrivals hall, in the cab by 6:20, at the hotel at 7:45.

On the way back, cab was at 4:45 and at DME just before 5:30.
