West - Bellevue > SEA -- how long by taxi?

I am heading from Chicago to Seattle in January for a conference at the Bellevue Hyatt. I've just seen the program and it turns out that I have to be there until 1.45pm on Sunday.

My question -- if I get a taxi promptly at 1.45pm from the Bellevue, can I make the 3.20 Southwest flight from SEA? How is the travel time on a Sunday afternoon, and how easy is SEA to navigate when I get there?

I could possibly get away a little earlier (1.30pm or 1.20pm) if that would mean getting the flight. I have not yet booked flights, but the problem is that the only flights to Chicago after 3.20 are red-eyes requiring expensive connections.

Thanks,
Squirrel

Under normal circumstances the drive will be around 30 minutes. SEA has Fly-By security lines and bag check if you're A-List or on a Bus Select ticket.

Should be no problem on a Sunday afternoon unless there's road work on the 405.
Doesn't seem to be any: http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/regions/olympic/construction/

Agreed appx 30 minutes barring a traffic tie up. It is rare but the one thing that gums up roads here is snow. This area is simply not prepared to deal with it and if starts in all bets are off...
