I plan to take the Airport Express from downtown to YYZ getting on at Delta Chelsea Hotel.

I have a flight leaving YYZ at 07:00am - Domestic and do not need to check luggage. I should have already checked in online too.

If I take the first bus (leaving downtown at 04:30 arriving YYZ at 05:40 approx) Will that be enough time? On the Airport Express booking site, there is a warning on the booking, saying that the time is too short and that they cant guarantee that I wont miss my flight.

Is it too risky to take this, or is it likely that the bus will arrive ontime/early? Im guessing traffic at that time on a Saturday is not going to be bad right? Surely this is enough time... How long does the journey usually take?

Thanks for any help/suggestions

It will not take 1:10 hours on Saturday morning, there is no worries with your schedule.

Thanks for your reply, I shall go ahead with it then. Perhaps journeys during the week and during the day need to allow for more time, but as you say, traffic shouldnt be a problem on a Saturday 04:30am.

Should be plenty of time, and probably not many people to pick up along the way (there are 5 or 6 stops from Delta Chelsea to Westin.

If you book online (http://www.torontoairportexpress.com/), vs pay the driver, there is a 5% discount (I recall it used to be more).

At a neighborhood meeting on Thursday, someone said "is there an app for that?" and everybody laughed. I imagine someday you won't even have to ask. Booking the shuttle on your smartphone sounds like one of those things people would decide makes a smartphone must-have.

I can see them posting the 1h10m travel time base on rush hour traffic. It should not be a problem Sat am domestic. Their warning seems to be base on 90 minutes cutoff.

I went ahead with the booking, so I hope it all goes ok.

Just another question, I booked online and It gave ma Confirmation number which I have printed out. It then says I need to exchange this for a ticket with a customer service representative or a driver. Does this mean I have to go to their office or something? Or Can I present the confirmation number upon boarding the bus?

IIRC, I gave my driver the printout and that was fine. I seem to recall that he punched in some info and a ticket spit out of the machine (located where you would normally see a farebox on public buses). If you are worried, you can always ask the hotel staff or call PW.

I can confirm that the driver has handled the confirmation. They usually have the information in their system and you simply confirm that you are the person on the list.

Ok, so I dont need to do anything other than bring ID and printed confirmation number to the bus?

Thanks for clarification
