New England - Chill Lounge in Back Bay Beacon Hill?

Hey, have a chill w/e coming up with a lady in BOS. Looking for a sedate lounge, very chill & relaxed, 30+ crowd in Back Bay/Beacon Hill. Sort of the equivalent of The Brandy Library in Manhattan. Not Daisy's, not the Penalty Box, not Beacon Hill Pub. Walking distance from the Public Garden preferred.
Think clandestine and posh, stylish, dimly lit. Hotel bar okay...rooftop/view would be cool, but not required.
Suggestions?
TIA,

You could try Drink. That's in the Waterfront though.

Bristol Lounge at the Four Seasons?
Bar at No. 9 Park?
By the way, the Penalty Box is under new ownership, not that that changes the analysis.

On the outskirts of Beacon Hill but definitely worth checking out - Clink at the Liberty Hotel (http://www.libertyhotel.com/) fits your description. The hotel itself is worth checking out and definitely a great place to stay. It's an ex-early 1900's prison, hence the name of the bar.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will check them out. There also appears to be a bar called "Alibi" at the Liberty Hotel (formerly the Charles St. jail, no?) but it seems to be having an event (costume party) on Sat which would be no joy.
Best,

If you want a quality craft cocktail, definitely go to No. 9 Park.
I'll be there myself tonight. Last night was Drink and the night before was Craigie on Main. :)

Drink is packed with a 20-something crowd and a line on weekends. Not sure if that is what you're looking for, based on the original post.
I second the recommendation for Clink - their food is pretty good, too.

Have not been in a couple years but The Oak Bar (http://theoakroom.com/oakbar/)in the Fairmont Copley Plaza may fit the bill even though it is not on Beacon Hill. It is on the ground floor with only a view of the Boston Public Library, however.

Heck, Flash's (http://www.flashscocktails.com/home.html) across the street fits the bill, with a little less posh, but great upscale local.

The lounge at the W hotel might be to your liking.
