It´s working fine for me. Looks like a good deal. 3 / 4 stars hotels in Madrid for 40 to 50 euro / night.

Perhaps I'm just being dim, but the Berlin 'deals' seem far worse than just pricelining and being flexible with location within Mitte zones. I'd much rather pay less and get the NH Mitte or Maritim Proarte for less money and have a hotel located in a far superior part of town. Even if one ended up with with the Park Plaza allegedly in Prenzlauerberg, the price would usually be cheaper than the Nhow. The Nhow has a decent location, but this doesn't strike me as a particularly compelling fire sale. I'm not saying it is a bad deal, but it doesn't seem overly compelling.

I do see how this works pretty well in other cities but wouldn't recommend this for Berlin stays given the alternatives. Thanks to OP for the options, and apologies if I overly focused on a single destination.

I just realised this !!

So it does not allow me to cancel without charging the full amount...its stupid cos the You will not be charged until check-out. contradicts the Modifications, cancellations and no-shows: the full value of the original booked stay will be charged. !!

Looks like the only way for me to avoid this is to lose my cc before the check in date !

I wouldn't count on that working. If a pre-authorization has been done, the charge can still go against a cancelled card.

FWIW, my husband and I stayed at the Hesperia Ramblas in Barcelona. They had a very cool self-mix-in yogurt bar for breakfast with all kinds of dried fruits. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Can't seem to get it to work....put in dates and destination but page wouldn't load rates...

This would save me a lot of $$ - I've got an awkward (duration-wise) 11-day visit to AMS, and am desperately trying to avoid paying inflated prices with a combination of weekend 4/2's through Radisson and well...this :)

It is still live. It still claims low rates for AMS even though those rates are not available.

The NH Doelen in AMS is a dump anyway. Avoid.
