Does Colorado routinely get snow in September/October?
Geez...makes MKE not seem so bad.

If anyone is interested, the Weather Channel offers good explanation.

The snow will probably melt quickly, but in the meantime, it could cause some power outages, due to the heavy wet consistency. They are expecting up to 12" in DEN.
Perhaps some of our DEN friends can provide weather-in-the-weather reports.
Added to the Frontier weather advisory page is a Hurricane Rina advisory for CUN..
It won't be long before it's our turn in MKE.

Geez...makes MKE not seem so bad.You bet we do and we love it out here. It brings us gentle moisture that melts slowly to replenish our horrible soils. In addition, it usually only lasts a very short period of time.
Denver is the sunniest city in the U.S. That's right... sunnier than San Diego and Honolulu. But please, do not tell anyone. Just let them think that the snow we get now lasts until Memorial Day. Brutally cold. Skiing until the 4th of July.
We don't want the truth about our weather getting out to the general public, otherwise they may leave Milwaukee and move here, clogging our highways to the mountains even more than they already are. :p
