We're staying right behind the Main Post Office in the Gothic Quarter and are looking for suggestions for Tapas and/seafood in walking distance.

I enjoyed Txapela, near Corte Ingles at the end of Las Ramblas. Lots more business people/locals than tourists despite the location. Very good and great for people watching.

About 2 miles from Barrio Gótico you have Ferran Adriá´s tapas restaurant at Avinguda del Paral·lel, 164. http://www.ticketsbar.es/en

Reservations needed, or you can try to walk in and if they don´t have room they might be able to accomodate you in the next door 46º.

I'll be Barcelona in two weeks time with my parents and handicapped sister. Does anyone know if any of these recommended tapas places are either wheelchair accessible or only feature a couple of steps? My sister can walk at a very slow pace and can certainly get to a table from a front door but we'd like to avoid flights or stairs.

Thanks in advance. :)

No reservations but you may need to wait for a table in the late evening.
