I just read on another forum that Hilton Gold customers can get upto 20% off their Hilton restaurant bills. Is this true and if so then where can I get more information about it? Thanks.

I got this info in regards to the get-together at SYD on 4th Sept where someone mentioned that a 20% discount can be had. Of course it can very well be that I misunderstood the posting or the poster was a bit unclear about the issue. Any input?

you need to be 60+ You where just around the corner from me. if you where still here we could have a do without to much travel. Ck on www.hiltonhonners.com (http://www.hiltonhonners.com) for the link to sign up. also with senior hilton you only need 8 stays for gold.

I recieved 20% off my food at the ORD Hilton and I am just over half the age it would take to qualify for Senior HHonors! This happened quite by mistake actually. I had recieved coupons for 10% off food in the resturant in my gold VIP packet at check-in. When I went down to the resturant, however, I forgot the coupon. Sitting at the bar, I told the bartender that I had recieved a 10% off coupon and inquired if I needed to run to my room to get it to get the discount. He said just show me your card. I did and he ran it through the computer like a CC. When I looked at my bill, it had my Gold VIP number printed on it with 20% off!

Is this standard for ALL Gold VIP's? I have to think it is not just a fluke as it seemed to be programmed into the computer. I am going to try it again next time I eat at a Hilton!
