IB don't sell one-way tickets in economy, at least that's what I thought.
But someone just pointed out that you can buy MAD-CPH one way
for around €85, and Yes, flights operated by IBERIA proper e.g IB3304 and in addition you can book them on the BA.com site
and it has been like that for years.

So what's the story? why this route only, or are there more routes with low
one-way fares?? (i.e operated by Iberia NOT by Vueling)

Competition? (SK offers discount economy o/w fares)

maybe, but there is competition on many other routes as well, eg with UX and JK who both sell one way tickets on all routes.

Iberia have always sold one-way tickets to my knowledge, its just often they are full-fare and so it is cheaper to buy a return and not use the second half.
