There's a special executive event this evening which I'll be attending.

Anyone else going?

They called and begged but I said I'd be in TYO.

Nice event in SJ last night. Unveiling of the new seats for all three cabins, plus example meals.

Pretty classy event in the rotunda in downtown San Jose, catered and full of ANA executives and silicon valley elites.

Now, if we could just get some 787 love to SFO....

So did you get ANA cabin amenity good and ANA original mini tote bag like it mentioned in the email ?

I wonder the cabin amenity good is the amenity basket items in C or PJ in F ? :p Was the mini tote bag the white cloth bag with ANA logo at the bottom ?

Flimsy white plastic bag with assortment of C like amenities including slippers, toothbrush, etc. As I recall, the email mentioned the mini tote for the first X number of attendees to enter.

It seems the tote bag is made for the event, I thought it was the white one they were actually selling it. They are quite generous though, I espeically like their slippers, better than all F slippers from SQ/OZ/UA/TG.

Regarding to the onboard rice, they actually have a rice cooker on board.

I misplaced the membership card, but I did print out my membership number.Finally, I decided not to go, because the rush hour traffic and downtown parking problem.

Yeah, however, I have not seen the rice cooker yet. A good reason to check out what's in the galley next time.

My friend and I woke up at 7am and went at 7:30am. Southbound Hwy 101 was okay but Northbound was a parking lot.

We managed to park right across the street of the City Hall for a hour for free, which was a miracle indeed.
