Washington D.C. (including Baltimore) - Organic restaurant near the W?

Any advice on a good organic restaurant near the W DC?

I've never been, but you could check out "Funxion". May not be exactly what you're looking for, but it sure seems interesting!

Restaurant Nora and Coppi's Organic are the two that come to mind, but both are over a mile from the W. Short cab or metro ride, though.

Founding Farmers is closer (four blocks west), even if it's not strictly organic. For more casual dining, consider Cowgirl Creamery and Sweetgreen.

Thanks. Ended up at Equinox. Not organic but still quite good.

Was tempted by Founding Fathers but the reviews online were quite poor.

For future reference, there is not much in that immediate area, but Penn Quarter is walkable and has lots of great restaurants. If you are more in the mood for pubs or something casual Logan Circle area is also walkable.
