Am I reading the CopaAir upgrade policy correctly?
From what I can see elite members can get upgrades on international fights. An example would be from Miami to Buenos Aires.
Also, anyone know if Copa has a Mileage Challenge like AA, or status match like Continental?
Thanks in advance!

Copa's frequent flyer program is OnePass, which is shared with Continental.
The details of their status match are here: http://www.copaair.com/sites/cc/en/OnePass/Pages/FAQ-OnePass.aspx#f20
If you do a Continental status match, you will have status for Copa.

Note though that Copa does not fly Miami to Buenos Aires nonstop, but rather requires a stop in its Panama City hub. Itis not unusual for there to be elite upgrades on Western Hemisphere international flights. US- Mexico, Central America, Caribbean, Northern South America, Canada flights are upgradeable on United/Continental and Delta. usually, the question is what kind of equipment is being flown.

Thanks Adam!
I was going to do the Continetal/United status match until I read this
OnePass Elite members are eligible for unlimited complimentary First Class upgrades on flights operated by Continental, United and Copa Airlines* flights in the following markets:...
....
....
* Not eligible for United Mileage Plus Elite members

That shouldn't have any impact on what you're doing. If you status match through Continental, you will have OnePass status -- not United Mileage Plus status. The programs are separate through the end of the year.
OnePass Elite status will be the same whether you match through Copa or Continental, as it is one program.
