Oceania (Australia, New Zealand & the South Pacific) - Weekend foreign currency purchase in Sydney

Other than at the airport, can anyone suggest somewhere in Sydney where I can buy foreign currency?
I've booked a last-minute flight to Bali departing on Sunday. The banks are all closed and Travelex & Australia Post both need 2 business days to process online orders.
Thanks.

What's the problem with the airport? Are you going by boat?

ANZ has a foreign currency dispensing ATM at the airport that has the same rates as at their branches. It's down by their branch which may or may not be open on the weekend.
I seem to recall a bureau de change located in Darling Harbour. They should be able to help.

Buying at the airport usually means a higher commission, and lower exchange rate.

Most places in the CBD will be open.

If you are asking about buying IDR in Sydney, then don't as you can get at least 10% more IDR for AUD at DPS than anywhere in Australia. Also ATMs are everywhere in Seminyak etc. offering a better exchange rate than I found at ANZ bank in Australia and much better (>10% better) than at Travelex. IDR is a bit of a special case for currency exchange, and street rates are often higher than the official exchange rate (due to export controls) :) The street money changers are open at all hours/days, or you can always do it at the DPS airport upon arrival (slightly worse rate, maybe 3% worse but still better than the best SYD rate).
Ashfield or Chinatown if you want a little just in case. but really wait until you get there. much better than the airport rates in Sydney
I second that in Bali. Just take Aussie cash and change it there. When I went about a month back I got around 8000 to the $ from Amex. The street rate in Bali was over 9000. Make sure you count every note though - they do have a habit of short changing you.
