Hilton HHonors - Room rate question

Looking at rates for Tokyo Hilton. (noticed that there are cheaper rates on the Japanese site)

I need a room for 2.

(Btw, I supposed 'Twin' means 2 beds? Usually just need 1 bed whenever I book hotels so just want to make sure.)

I enter '1 Adult per room' and got a rate of 25600 Yen. When I enter '2 Adults per room', I got 30400 Yen for the exact same room.

The room is:

Room Description
- TWIN BUSINESS ROOM
NEWLY REFURBISHED. FAX. LINE CHARGER IN ROOM
29TH FLOOR. IDEAL FOR BUSINESS GUESTS.

Rate Description
DOUBLE MILES & WINE (JG) - DOUBLE MILES & WINE DBL DIP & DBL MILES AT HILTON CREDIT CARD GUARANTEE

So can I just put in '1' adult and get the lower rate for the Twin room even though 2 people are staying in the room?

I might end up book on the Japanese site as the rates are lower there. However, might consider this one since it's double miles + wine + business floor.

Empress, you are correct with the twin beds. That'll be 2 twin beds - rather small for those used to queens and kings.

If you could provide the dates, then I can help you look up availability on the Japanese website (unless you are fluent).

The special plans on the website are going to be at least 20,000 for 2 (or 17,000 for 1). I thought that their cyber rates used to be lower... Oh, their Cyber rate for Junior suites are 24,000 and Tower suites are 35,000. I wouldn't know about Gold and Diamond upgrades from the suites, though. Re: the business floor, I don't know how different they are from the regular floors or the Executive floors. I was lucky enough to get Executive rooms for all the times I stayed.

Edited to add: The Business and Executive floors get free high speed internet access (normal daily charge is 2,400 I think). Just plug in your ethernet cord into the socket, and you're set.

If the other occupant is your spouse, then I think it would be ok to put it as 1 adult per room and get the 1 person rate.
