Greetings everyone:
I will be traveling to Melbourne, Australia using V Australia International Economy and I have a question concerning the check-in process which is all on one VA e-ticket.
My first flight will be on a VA codeshared Delta Connection/Skywest flight from SFO to LAX where I am supposed to check-in with Delta as VA doesn't exist in SFO.
After arriving in LAX, am I supposed to check-in with VA as VA's telephone agent said I needed to check-in before each plane. If so, assuming I take the airside shuttle from T5 to T3, do I just check in at the VA gate or do I have to check-in at the check-in counters outside the security area?
After boarding the VA flight to SYD, I know I have to go through customs and quarantine before hitting the seamless transfer lounge, there is supposedly a bus that takes me from VA to DJ terminal, is the bus actually airside or is it landside and from what I was told, I have to check-in for DJ as well. Thanks!
