Hilton HHonors - Camino Real

I recently stayed at the Camino Real in Mexico City. It is the best hotel I have stayed at in Mexico City.

I made my decision to stay there based on the location. I was also under the impression that Hilton and Camino Real had just become partners and that I would be able to accrue Hilton Honors points there. The check in desk said that was not the case.

Can anyone else shed some light on this for me?

In the beginning of July the partnership ended. I was going to stay at the canun location for one night( 4th stay for 50,000 points). I found out about the partnership ending 2 days before my stay. Stayed a the cancun hilton for all 4 nights.

Well Hilton really did a ****ty job informing us of this didn't they? I too have a reservation, thinking I am getting points.

What a crock. Usually Hilton is very good and forthcoming with information. It appears they are asleep on this one.
