I got an email from BA today about the number of tier points increasing on some longhaul routes, that europe would remain the same, and that Spanish domestic would be reducing.
It did not say how it would be reducing, but I suspect they are going to bring it in-line with British Airways' Business UK which is 20TP each way, so Iberia Business Domestic will reduce from 40TP to 20TP each way. Domestic will stay at 10TP. This is what I am hoping anyway..
Tier points in BA are used to achieve status eg Gold, Silver, Premier and the new Bronze which will come out in November.
I am not sure how this will effect Iberia Plus, but as Avios miles have been equalised as of November I suspect the number of points to achieve status will be the same as well.
