Hilton HHonors - E-statement

I received an "e-statement" via e-mail yesterday. I don't recall opting-in for one. Was there a bonus offer for getting these instead of paper? (That would have been the only reason why I would have accepted not receiving paper statements.)

For what it's worth, Hilton send me an e-statement and a paper statement. The e-statement is more current than the paper statement. The paper statement I received two days ago had activity through June 30. The e-statement I received this morning had activity through July 31. I can't remember signing up for an e-statement, but I must have at some point in time.

I get both also. I like to keep the Paper statment for records but find the E-statement far more up to date. I also can't remember asking for it?

The email about E-Statement that I received implied that I should be able to download a PDF file of my statement. However, based on my use of arcane software (like Eudora as an email client and Netscape as a browser), what appears to be a link in the email does not take me to any place where I can download a PDF file of my statement.
What are other folks' experiences? Can you download a PDF of your statement?

Works well for me (using Outlook). In fact, I think I will stop the paper statements and just print the pdf statement when needed.

Works fine for me, click the link and it opens up a PDF in a new window, suitable for saving, printing, whatever.
I still like to get the snail mail, just to read about any promo's, contests, etc. Of course I have almost always heard about them here first. But you never know....

I mysteriously started receiving e-statements about 5-6 months ago. About 2 months ago they mysteriously stopped.

I receive both. No bonus for signing up for the "e", but I did. The "e" is about a month more current, but if you really want an up-to-date inquiry, just go to the Hilton site under HHonors and press the right keys for your up-to-date account, including all activity. No coupons or discounts, however.
