I have a stay coming up at Hilton Toronto with my family through a Priceline reservation. Three people total. Since PL only guarantees the rate for two people, I was wondering if there's going to be an extra person charge. Has anyone had any experiences with that? Thanks.

That is almost never a problem, but there is always the chance of getting a room with only a king bed. Good advice is to call or fax a few days before arrival and request a room with two beds.

The biggest problem appears to be when you get a boutique type hotel in like SF or NYC where it is more common to have some hotels with very small rooms and one-bed rooms are very predominant.

I've done a lot of Priceline stays with a family of 4 and I never let it stop me. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
