Hi,
Was hoping someone could help. I have booked a business class Star Alliance itinerary using Asiana miles, which requires a connection in IAD (with a flight back from IAD to LGA). Originally, the flight rom IAD to LGA was on a single-class airplane, so i was booked in Y. But apparently schedules and planes have changed, and the flight is now two-class. Asiana rebooked me on the newly scheduled flight in Y. When i called, they said that as the business class awared is in I, I am not eligible for a connecting flight in first, which must be booked into O. This seems strange to me (I've always had domestic connections in F when booking an international itinerary in business) - is this correct, and if not, does anyone have advice? For background, the flight is UA3738 on January 28. Thanks.
