LAN LANPASS - Upgrading in a Flight paid with Kms?

Is it possible to redeem for an upgrade with Kms. for a ticket paid for with Kms.?
I'm flying SCL-NYC and Then MIA-LIM-SCL, and I'm only interested in upgrading the SCL-NYC portion, since the MIA-LIM-SCL isn't a night flight...
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Well according to LAN.com

Redeem an upgrade with your LANPASS kms

Don’t forget that you can redeem an upgrade for outbound or return flights for tickets from any rate group.

So a T reward fare presumably qualifies as any rate group.

LAN also says

To redeem an upgrade using kilometers, please contact our LANPASS Call Center or visit any LAN office.

So you need to speak to them in person anyway, as such you can clarify with them
