Hawaii-based Airlines - FIA ("BoH") HA card: how long to get the 25% off cert?

How long does it take to get the "25% off for flights for two" cert posted in ones HA account after getting the BoH card? I got the card some two months ago, got the first part, 20K bonus miles posted a month ago, but still no 25% off cert posted (that I was counting on getting upon card issuance, as promised, and as all the documentation FIA sends clearly says - that it has been already placed there). Have called FIA numerous times, they either tell me to call HA, don't know, or finally looked up and said it could take "6-8 weeks," but won't open up any case to investigate or anything. HA says FIA has to send it tp them and has checked that they have not sent it; HA suggests to get FIA On the phone with them to sort this out, but FIA refuses - and frankly the front line agents there have no idea about even what this 25% off cert is, or who internally at FIA to ask about it or escalate it to.

So how is one supposed to get that 25% off cert when it does not post automatically and for some two months FIA is just giving the run-around, while doing nothing to correct it and send it to HA? (And no way other than time consuming phone to contact FIA, the only major bank with no online service - amazing how bad it is, HA really knows how to pick the worst of the worst for its CC partner.)

After reading your post I checked my account online. I found an electronic cert# with 25% off two paid tickets. Check yours under the "My account page". There is also some other coupon for a discount on flights from Sacramento. Hope this helps.

Yes, keep checking there but it's not there, and HA confirms FIA hasn't sent it to them.

After how many weeks (or months) after you got your card did yours finally appear there?

i had my electronic cert for 25% in about 1 week. BofA card

Mine appared within a week as well. I would add that I was able to just use a button when in the reservations section; where you could toggle to either use the 25% of cert or not. It took me a few times to notice it.

If memory serves, it was at the top of the page, towards the middle (to the immediate left of your name/mileage #, etc).

After 2+ months, you should for sure have the cert in your account. Both of mine (BoA and BoH) showed up in my account within a week or two of approval. When I log into my HawaiianMiles account, they're right there on the front of the summary page:

"25% Off Coach Roundtrip for Two
Special Bank of America Signature Visa Discount
Between Mainland U.S. and Hawaii
Valid for 13 months since issuance of card"

But how can you get the cert in the first place? 9 months after card issue, countless times called both FIA and BoH and still no cert...how long does it usually take to get it, and how difficult is it: how many 10s of open trouble tickets, registered mail letters sent (which FIA just ignores and never responds to), etc. does it take to force FIA to actually live up to its promise and post the cert to HA? (As FIA of course is really extremely unethical, and has the worst service of any card issuer. Everything else they promise is also never delivered: e.g. statement credit (or something like that, I forgot now) if using card for bill payments. Did so, but nothing even a good 4-5 months later. Same as the HA 25% off cert: an empty promise that FIA never fulfills.)
