Thailand - 6.5Hr Layover in BKK - Airport or Hotel?

I'm thinking about taking a TG flight arriving in BKK at 1:20AM with the next flight onwards to PNH at 7:45AM.
I looked up the BKK Novotel airport which seems to be about $130USD for the night. Anyone experience such a short layover and if you would recommend camping out in the airport or staying in the airport hotel for a few hours?

For these exact situations my Priority Pass is indispensable. Louis Tavern lounges aren't the greatest, but to while away 4 hours overnight rather than pay for a hotel in which I'm not going to be able to sleep, they are fine.
If you want to head out to a hotel there are plenty to be had on Lat Krabang. Agoda is one way to find the myriad establishments (assuming they are still up and running in the next week).

How much do they cost for one time entry? I guess I could hang there for a couple hours, head to the TG lounge when they open at 5:00AM, go get a massage at the Royal Orchid Spa at 6:00AM and be just in time for my 7:45AM flight out?

I don't know how much it costs because i have a membership through AmEx Plat. I think you need a membership to even have a chance of getting in... you can't just buy a one-time pass.
What you suggest is exactly what i've done because the 7:45AM BKK-PNH is not an uncommon segment for me: Hop into TG lounge at 5AM, massage when the Spa opens at 6AM, go to the bus gate (hope it's D1A) at 7:15AM.

Do a search as prices vary.
My priority pass was a gift from Thai Airways. And how sweet is this. The manager at the Oriental Hotel always ask for our return flight schedule. When we arrive in the lounge there is always a bottle of champagne on ice waiting for us.
