Brazil - Manaus Airport

Anyone with recent experience using Manaus airport? Would appreciate any info on what's available/open in the overnight hours. End of October, flying out 05:32am Copa to Panama City and we'll have about an hour ground transit to the airport. Thanks.
See reviews at http://www.airlinequality.com/Airports/Airport_forum/mao.htm I have only transited in the last few years, but it looked rather small and dumpy. It may have grown, since there are no more international fights than before (though I think Delta dropped it as a destination). At that hour, I'd bank on the check-in desks being open and probably at least one place with coffee and pao de queijo, etc., but not much else. What are you looking for? I assume your ground transportation is arranged.
(on the reivews, I found the "world's most expensive" Internet cafe funny; $15 hr. is high, but I recently stayed at one of the Disneyland hotels in Anaheim where the cost was $6 for 10 mins.).

Copa wants us there 3hrs prior to departure. If we're dropped at 02:30, was just curious if anyone will be on duty in the "outer" lobby to process us thru security and into checkin lobby.

There are several flights at the Manaus airport during those hours, so yes, there will be people around. That said, I think 3 hours is way too excessive for a 737 flight (albeit an international one). The airport is quite small and not much to do. If you have Diners Club there is a lounge in the domestic departura area, after security, that has free drinks and internet conection. Not sure ifyou can access it from the international departure area, but you can ask when you get there.

The only lounge is Sala VIP Lounge Fronteiras... I donīt know if Copa J grants access but it can be purchased for R$ 50,00.
