Virgin Australia Velocity - Redeeming points for gift vouchers

Hi there,

I recently redeemed some DJ points for a Myer gift card, but for the last five days the order history shows 'issue' and nothing has happened ever since. Do you guys have any experience on how long it usually takes until they actually ship those gift cards..?

Eventually I got the gift card. It took ~ 2,5 weeks for the delivery, so keep that in mind when you order such a gift voucher.

I usually never redeem miles for anything other than flights / upgrades, but since I'm not gonna be in Australia, it was the only option to make use of the leftover miles. $50 for 6.750 miles are not excellent, but compared to the LH Worldshop I'm used to it's a fantastic ratio :D
