Hawaii-based Airlines - First Hawaiian Airlines flight

Redeye Oct 12 LAS-HNL. Also my first flight on an Airbus 330. The flight was totally full, with at least 40 standbys turned away. Looked to be only about 10 of us haoles on the flight. I was surprised that there were only 18 FC seats on the aircraft, 3 rows of 2-2-2. Coach was 2-4-2. This is an amazing aircraft, I was in 18A, right opposite the engine, and the airplane was very quiet. FAs were all Hawaiian, very polite. Other than the flight being a redeye, it was a nice experience, even in coach.

Mahalo nui for the trip report. I've been on the same flight last February and was surprised how many people were on the flight. That HA flight is the only westbound flight operating domestically at that time of day (night). I agree, the A330s are great. ^
