If the leaked memo holds true, here's when/where Madonna will be playing next year. Seattle in July - wow! Either way, I plan to travel to at least one concert of hers in 2012. I'm praying these dates are solid.

What? Raleigh gets Katy Perry but not Madonna? Say it ain't so!

Dates and venues are frequently added on an ongoing basis, so this is unlikely to be complete.

I'd love to see Madonna outside the US, and I know a lot of fans travel to see her a great distance. If these dates hold up, I'm considering traveling Australia or Paris to see her.
btw - saw Katy Perry, and that was a really fun show!

I am surprised she isn't performing in NYC. I saw her in 2008 at Madison Square Garden, I loved how she did some of her older songs like Borderline and Like a Prayer.

Yes, but she puts on a really entertaining show for your money. Especially if, as jamesteroh put it, you grew up listening to her songs. It's like seeing Elton John - lots of grey hair in the audience, and he doesn't do more than sit at the piano anymore, but it's really fun to actually see him live with other fans.

I saw Elton John and Billy Joel perform together and it was one of my favorite concerts.
Just because someone is "older" doesn't mean they still can't perform. I saw Tina Turner in Chicago in 2008, and she was almost 70 then and she sold out the United Center for both shows. It was her tour to celebrate 50 years of performing and she had more energy in that concert than most 20 year olds.

Will do. And by the way, take some Irish Spring with you on your next trip to Europe. As gifts, of course. ;) :D (I mean, not if you get into that, of course, none of my business.)

And, you know, perhaps a set of instructions, whatever. Unless we are going to France. In which case, why be petty. Vive la France and all that. ;)

Wasn't it? I saw her too and loved it. Oh and a +1 to everyone who defended "older" acts. I see Stevie Nicks every so often and she's still got it.

By coincidence I'll be in PVG when she's there. I wonder how I buy tickets for a concert in mainland China.

It's been proven that this is fake. Allegedly. (one of the listed stadiums was demolished) :)

I heard the entire Elton John Billy Joel concert through my open window. It was great.

One of the main ticketing websites should offer these (and these sites are available in English). You can pay by credit card (though you may need to scan and email them a copy of the card). Otherwise you can have them deliver to your hotel in most cases and then pay in cash.
Main sites are http://en.piao.com.cn/shanghai and http://www.mypiao.com ("piao" is Chinese for "ticket"). Both are reputable and have been established for several years.

It was an amazing concert. I love how they started out and ended the concert performing together and how they broke off on their own with their own bands in the middle. One of the best concerts I have ever been to.

A resounding 'meh' on my part. Madonna's relevancy slips away as she fights the aging process, taking herself oh-too-seriously.
Now another Kylie tour... That's news to celebrate. Wake me when someone who runs a FUN show goes out on the road.

Regardless, she's planning to tour next year and I'm traveling to see her. There's so many songs I haven't seen/heard live. She'll almost certainly do the major cities: London, New York, LA, Paris.
