Finnair Plus - Bucharest is Northern Europe - says AY

Check out the upgrade for points section on the AY website

* Destinations in North Europe are Bucharest, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Moscow, Oslo, Stockholm, St. Petersburg, Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius and Warsaw.

Moscow and Warsaw are already quite a stretch, but Bucharest, Romania?? More to the South than Milan or Bologna?

For starters I never consider Moscow to be in Europe. :)

I think Warsaw can get away with being bundled with Northern Europe just barely. As a country though I find it interesting that even Norway's eastern border goes further east than Poland's eastern border, yet Norway isn't classified as Eastern Europe. :D
