I'm planning a trip to Berlin in January, and am considering a quick sidetrip to Dublin.

Does anyone know how to possibly get between the two cheaply? I've heard horror stories about Ryan Air, so looking for another option.

Thanks.

Aer Lingus is the only other nonstop, and is pretty cheap on that route. (Out of SXF, sub $150). A non discount carrier would come in around $250 r/t with a stop.

Try bmi - they fly to dublin and Berlin Tegel with a stop in Heathrow.

bmi is about € 210 for TXL-LHR-DUB while Lufthansa charges about € 170 for TXL-FRA-DUB, both include luggage and food and drinks (bmi F&B only on the TXL-LHR leg).

EI is about € 100 for the direct SXF-DUB flight, luggage and F&B extra.
