Hilton HHonors - experiences with hotel or air awards?

With the profile update bonus, I've finally hit 85,000 points! That's enough for a BA London-Europe (60K), WN (75K), or many airlines' domestic (USA) award (85K).

Any difficulty or tips on redeeming? If I'm not mistaken, only AA requires a Sat. night stay according to the HHonors website.

I suppose that I could also redeem a hotel award instead.
