CHANGES TO IBERIA’S SHORT HAUL SCHEDULE
During the winter period 2011-2012 Vueling Airlines will temporarily operate the following routes from/to Amsterdam with aircrafts on loan from Iberia. Current Iberia reservations will be rebooked on IB5000 coded flights on the same schedule.

Changes in the GDS as from today the 5th of October 2011.

The changes will take place in the normal way, with a message in the booking showing UN on the Iberia operated flight and a simultaneous TK on the new IB5000 flight operated by Vueling. If the ticket has already been issued, in the majority of cases these will be automatically revalidated by the system when closing the pnr with ETK.
Anticipating questions that may arise we inform you:
· Boarding cards can still be obtained via the iberia.com website.
· Check-in to final destination will be undertaken at the check-in counters showing Vueling IB5XXX flights.
· It will not be necessary to collect baggage in Madrid or to check-in again.
· The baggage allowance will be the same as for all other Iberia operated flights, for checked and hand baggage, and any exceptions in place for IB flights will also apply. The same applies to excess baggage, in the case of passengers with connections.
· Special baggage such as snowboards, golf bags etc. will be unaffected.
· With regards to special services, you need to bear in mind that on flights operated by Vueling, stretchers are not permitted, and that pets are permitted in the cabin, but not in the hold, therefore any animal not able to travel in the cabin will not be accepted for travel..
· Unaccompanied minors: same treatment as IBERIA.
· IB5thousand does not offer newspapers and has a paid meal service on board..
BUSINESS CLASS
· Business class : Vueling does not have a business class cabin, passengers will be rebooked in reservationsclass Y and offered a free drink.
· Business class tickets already issued for Iberia operated on AMSMAD ow or rt : difference in fare between business class and economy class will be refunded
· Passengers with tickets for a business class fare will be accommodated in the first rows , the middle seat will be kept free whenever this is possible.
· Passengers holding a business class ticket for all connecting flights (IB5thousand/IB operated) may use the VIP lounge.
· Passengers IBERIA PLUS ORO and PLATINO travelling in tourist class on IBthousand series operated by Vueling may use the VIP lounge.
· IB5000 flight do not offer tax fee sales on board.
Fares:
· Published fares: a double farestructure will exist, one for Iberia operated flights and one for flights operated on IB5thousand number.
· IB5000 fares require ticketing the same day as reservation is made.
· Fares are combinable on ½ return applying to most restrictive conditions
· IB5thousand flights may be used for connecting flights within Spain except for IB8000 flightnumbers ( Air Nostrum)
· Business fare, a new fare called Business Duo will be loaded in the crs for IB5thousand reservationclass I.
Refunds:
· If no alternative is available and the client decides not to travel with Vueling full refund may be given without penalty.
Claims:
Luggage:
· When the passenger is travelling on connecting flights and the last flight has been operated by Vueling , the passenger needs to contact Vueling at the airport for the handling of the lost or damaged luggage
· When the the passenger’s last flight was operated by Iberia , Iberia will handle the claim.
Other claims.
· When an incident occurs on a flight operated by Vueling , Vueling will handle the complaint :
o Through a complaint form available at the airports .
o Through the webpage www.vueling.com , useful info , frequently asked questions ,baggage .
o Telephone nr: 0900 777 0038 (from the Netherlands)
When a passenger has any type of complaint about a flight IB5thousand ,Vueling should always be contacted.
