Hilton HHonors - Earn 1,000 HHonors bonus points w/Hilton AmEx Acct

As a Hilton HHonors AmEx Platinum card holder I received the following promo in the mail: "Visit american express.com/mycardaccount for complate Card account information, and earn 1,000 HHonors bonus points when you register to check your bill online." Offer ends August 31, 2002.

I applied for this card and they wrote back and asked me for a copy of my tax return. I have NEVER been asked for this by a credit card company. I chose not to provide it.
