Alitalia MilleMiglia - E190 presentation today

Been there with a bunch of CFPs from the Facebook page (kind of AZ to invite us!).

AZ plans to buy other Embraer aircrafts apparently, and is trying to get Embraer to create a maintenance center of some sort in FCO.

The E190 looks VERY good. 2+2 seating with comfortable space, cabin is not narrow nor low, and seats are comfortable if a bit less padded than usual.

The next E190 is incoming in a couple of weeks, and another just after that.

Lucky you - have you taken any shots? I think it was a really good choice from AZ. Do we know (roughly) which routes those new E190 will be flying? P.S.: I personally love that plane!

I haven't but a friend was there to shoot pics for aviazionecivile, so they should be online there very soon.

This specific E190 will leave tomorrow morning to fly FCO-VIE.

I think the Embraers will also be used on off-peak flights between FCO and LIN to free up some 319-20-21s.

As mentioned on another thread they will be on LIN -> BCN too in a couple of weeks

So, how did the facebook Team pick between AZ fans? And did you stay 1night in VIE or did you come back to FCO the same day?

This month the first one, and deliveries continuing through to mid-2012.
