Other North & South America Frequent Flyer Programs - 45min. connection on TAM in ASU (Asuncion, Paraguay)

Hi there all,

I have a South America trip coming up, and one of my TAM-flights just changed: I now have just a 45 min. connection in ASU (Asuncion, Paraguay). I am arriving from Buenos Aires (EZE) and I'm connecting on a domestic flight to Ciudad del Este (AGT). I have two on this itinerary:

-Do I have to clear customs and immigration once I arrive in ASU?
-Is the 45 min. connection doable?

If anyone could provide me some information on this connection, it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

(Something strange and funny I wanted to mention: on Checkmytrip, the "Meal" section of these flights only says "ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES COMPLIMENTARY" instead of something like "Lunch" or "Snack" =) )

Cheers!

You will arrive on a PZ flight from EZE around 10/11 am + or -, and the same aircraft will take you to AGT on his way to GRU. So PZ will take care of you and customs will be done at AGT. ASU airport is very very small and there are only 2 PZ flights at the moment you arrive. One is heading to GRU via AGT and the other to SCL. So, dont worry and enjoy paraguayan hospitality aboard PZ dedicated planes!!

Thank you very much for taking the time to answer my questions. Great to hear that there probably won't be any problems. It will be my first time flying PZ and I am really looking forward to it :)!!

Saludos desde Holanda!

I'll second the comment about ASU being a small airport! Be glad your connection is only 45 minutes. Not much to do air-side except spend money at over-priced trinket shops.
