Hilton HHonors - Question regarding checking in at Las Vegas Airport via Park Place

Hello,

Does anyone know if it is possible to check in at the Airport for a Park Place property 1 to 2 days early.

In other words. I plan on staying downtown (old strip area) the first night, but then I am going to stay at the Flamingo Hilton on the 2nd night, and then Ballys on the 3rd night. Is it possible to check in for the 2nd & 3rd night, even though it would be 1 to 2 days away?

I would like to do this because:

01). I won't have to hassle checking in at the hotel.
02). I heard that Hilton Gold card upgrades etc. are easier to obtain via the Airport
03). I want to make sure I get my Hilton HHonors points, since this will be part of my 50K promo.

To make it more interesting, I was able to obtain a better rate when staying at the Flamingo Hilton using my Players Club card, but I am nervous that I may be saving money, but I will not get a Hilton credit for staying.

Sorry, but that's not quite correct. True, you can't actually check-in a day or two in advance, but you can get a room pre-assigned for you. You will still have to check-in at the hotel to get your key, but you will know which room you'll be staying in. I did exacly that last time I was in Vegas.

When checking in did you give them your HHonors number and did you get the points?

Of course. This has been covered in dozens of threads, literally.

Does anyone know what terminal (or baggage area) is the Park Place check in for Hilton located at?

I will be in Terminal 1 flying SouthWest and I am hoping it is in the area.

Located in the south baggage claim area near the exit from the C and D gates, open daily 10am - midnight.

From Southwest flights, come down the escalator into the baggage area, hang a right, and look for the room with the cool carpet. Oh, and it says "Park Place" on the front...

Remember to look at all the wonderful stuff they've built there, and then keep repeating to yourself "they didn't do this by giving money away..."
